We’ve bought our place in the sun. We’ve packed up and brought everything we need. The house has no electricity, no water, no drainage and a leaking roof. But I’m pretty handy. I brought my Bosch power drill, my cheap battery drill and a few assorted tools, and the house will soon be ready!

A few years on, I know that ignorance really is bliss. But the tales are for another day.
